As training camp drew closer, the Bulls remain locked in a holding pattern with guard Ben Gordon, the team’s top scorer for the past three seasons.
Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf addressed the issue on Sept. 17 when the Bulls and Blackhawks unveiled the swanky new Harris Club at the United Center, which is designed to give fans a luxury suite experience without having to buy at least 12 tickets per game.
“It has to be resolved,” Reinsdorf said. “You know, we have a business disagreement relating to the money, but he’s still a Chicago Bull, and I expect him to play for the Bulls. I expect him to play hard, and I’d be surprised if it’s anything other than that… I don’t know if it will be resolved before training camp, but I do expect him to be playing for the Bulls.”

Dixon returns to Wizards with free-agent deal
The Washington Wizards signed free-agent guard Juan Dixon on Tuesday. Dixon’s deal returns him to the team that drafted him after he led Maryland to the 2002 NCAA championship. Dixon played his first three pro seasons with the Wizards.
